Carrie and I, have been anxiously awaiting something super big and really exciting and I can’t stand to not jump on here and tell everyone about it! I have been good for weeks now and I just have to tell… I think if I don’t I just might explode.. :0(
(Sigh**) Hopefully I will get the opportunity to post some really big news in the next couple days.. but until then I think it would be fun to have you guess at what kind of BIG news Carrie might have??? Leave your comments as to what you think this super fun secret might be!

One of our ADORABLE AND SUPER TALENTED photographer friends, Terra Cooper of Magnifique Photography sent us an email the other day, it informed us that her photos were being featured in Utah Bride and Groom Magazine!!! Not only are we excited for her… (because, lets face it that’s awesome news..) but that means our cake will be in the magazine too!

I remember meeting with the bride, Kassi and her family for the BEST part of wedding planning….
THE TASTING, she was a doll… She we are so glad she came to us for her cake… Kassi wanted her cake smothered in gold pearls, on top of a white fondant cake. Perfect!

Since it has already started getting cold outside we have been hunkered down, keeping warm AND playing with the Cricut Cake Machine. I think the truth is the only thing that can hold you back is not using your imagination enough! Look at these fun cookies! Aren’t they awesome, any kid would love to bite into these things.
Halloween is not exactly my favorite Holiday but it is always fun to see the different decorations and treats that people come up with. I think a favorite treat of mine still has to be the Witches Hat made out of Ice Cream Cones and set on a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie. mmmm…. Have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Carrie has had the pleasure of riding her LIL’ Pink Scooter around town for the last year. It’s really quite funny in a SUPER CUTE, ADOREABLE WAY to see her get out and about in her Pink and White Polk-a-dot Helmet. Sometimes she goes out and buys presents for her grand-kids and then has to figure out where to put it and how to get it all home! LOL.. We joked so many times about how funny it would be if she could deliver her cakes on the back of the scooter….NO WAY did I think she would actually try it! I thought it was impossible to ensure that the cake wouldn’t just completely fly off or get destroyed in some sort of way.
After a little searching and googling we found the Cake Safe. We decided to put it to a real challenge and put a real cake in the Cake Safe and delivered it to laCaille, a local restaurant. It went off without a hitch!!!! And we got this awesome video of her doing it… I can only hope we didn’t give the bride a heart attack on her wedding day when she saw Carrie pull up with her wedding cake on a scooter! OH MY!
