It's not easy for me to pick favorites when it comes to the cakes that I make, I put so much energy in to each one that I love them all equally!

With that being said, we are wrapping up summer 2016 so I wanted to share a few of the cakes that stood out to me the most this wedding season!

Princess Cake

I always get so, SO excited when I'm presented with a new cake idea that is challenging and unique, so when Michelle Cousins of Michelle Leo Events approached me with this idea I was thrilled!!

The bride wanted a cake fit for a princess, but most importantly she wanted a castle on top and since her and her groom got engaged in Disneyland it just made sense to have a cake that looked like it belonged in a fairytale!

If you ask me, I think it turned out SO gorgeous!

Thank you Pepper Nix for the beautiful photos, I can't wait to get creative like this again! Maybe next time someone will want a cake that is 100% a princess castle?? ❤️

Fall Wedding Inspiration

I can't deny it any longer, August is coming to a close and autumn is right around the corner!

This means that all over my Facebook and Pinterest accounts I am seeing SO much gorgeous fall wedding inspiration, and I have to say I'm a little excited about it!

Don't get me wrong, I looove spring and summer cakes, because, who doesn't love bright colors and endless opportunities for fresh blooms?? However, fall definitely has its own romance about it, maybe it's the rich colors, or the chilly nights that make eating cake and cuddling extra wonderful!

With that, I thought I would share my own fall wedding inspiration! Here are some of my all time favorite autumn inspired cakes;

Fall + naked cakes are a match made in heaven! They're so rustic and gorgeous and are perfect for adding fresh seasonal fruit and greenery to!

Geode Cake Trend

Can I just say how in LOVE with the geode cake trend I am?? I think it is SO beautiful and can be done in so many different ways that are all equally unique and lovely! With that being said, I was SO excited when I had the opportunity to come up with my own version of this gorgeous trend, and as happy as I was with my design, I never expected it to be shared as often as it has been!

I am totally, completely and 100% honored to have my work shared on Hitched.co.uk , ABC News, Huffington Post, Grace Ormonde and on the cover of Utah Bride Blog Magazine!

Of course, I couldn't have my work shared so many times if it wasn't for Claire Marika for taking SUCH a gorgeous photo of this cake!

I can't wait to get creative with something like this again!
