  1. Just watched HSN. You and your cakes look great on TV!

    Carrie,
I ordered the Cake Cricut from HSN after watching you and seeing all the cakes….BUT, there is now a bunch of chatter on the web about how Provo Craft has copyrighted the use of the Cricut cartridges so that cakes decorated with Cricut cutouts will be illegal to sell. HSN does not even begin to relay this info to buyers which is a shame, if it is true. Can you give us your opinion on this since you are someone who uses the Cricut to decorate cakes you sell?

Hi I read the post of the lady who bought the machine and was convinced that Provo Craft says you can’t sell the items you create. However Provo craft states otherwise. They say you can sell 10,000 cakes with your machine as long as you sell your completed project not the individual cartridge designs.

Please see http://www.cricut.com/news/ for more information.
