Teal Fondant and Chocolate Damask Wedding Cake

 NOTE TO SELF: Don’t volunteer to help deliver and carry 5 tier cakes! LOL (and if you do, make a chiropractor appointment for the same day)

Hey guys Brooke here, (as usual) I have been dying to BLOG about this cake. Carrie’s friend Wendy Smith, ordered this cake for a DEAR FRIEND! What a fantastic wedding gift… mmmmm cake! So we created what I am calling a  ”gorgeous monstrosity“ for her and the lucky bride. 

Damask is becoming widely popular, so we put a layer of fudge in a damask pattern on top of the teal fondant. It match beautifully! Here is where I came in. The cake was entirely too heavy for ONE person to deliver by themselves. So I went to Provo with Carrie and together we carried the cake into a beautifully decorated backyard wedding. Even with TWO people it was still incredibly HEAVY! And of course people watching us carry the cake all had to say…. “Don’t trip!” This is becoming something I am very used to hearing.. And it always cracks up the person saying it. LOL Enjoy this photo, maybe is will give you an idea for you INCREDIBLE wedding day!
