A couple of posts ago I told you about a wedding where we delivered a cake to The Tahitian Noni Building. Well we were also contacted by the “people” at Tahitian Noni and they asked us to create a fun cake for their 10th Anniversary!
This was a BLAST for Carrie and her husband Bob to create a fun cake and to incorporate the Noni fruit into the theme of the cake. When you look at the picture you can see the funky spotted fruit in the basket. Carrie made those out of fondant and gumpaste to look exactly like the real fruit. She loves getting to be creative! And then on top of that, we had bunches of beautiful tropical flowers sporadically placed around.
We made the main cake a topsy turvy style and then added a couple of side cakes around the outside of the main cake. And the funky candles on top were actually made of gum paste.
So if you know any companies who need a cake for a special occasion keep Carrie’s Cakes in mind!
