I have been so excited to get these photos from Melissa Kelsey photography! This cake was one that I got to work with allot when the bride made her decision about the style! I love it’s Classic Black and White Victorian look.
One thing that I want everyone to know is you DO NOT have to have a stark white cake, if your colors are a soft cream or ivory it is fun to include that in to the wedding cake. You don’t have to have fondant either, if your working with an Ivory color you could choose to have you wedding cake covered in Marzipan. It is sweet and delicious, and has a natural tan color to it!
The bride Machel, sent me an email one day with a photo attached giving me a good idea of her style. It turned out fantastic! If you are one of our brides DON’T worry about bringing us new ideas WE LOVE IT!
Sorry guys, I am not sure who did the flowers (again) I am looking into it and I’ll let you know if I find out. I am pretty sure that Machel chose to have her wedding at Willow Creek Country Club. This is a really pretty venue, and it is REALLY fun to have you wedding outside on their terrace near the pool!

You did an amazing job with the cake- just I what I wanted! Not only was it gorgeous, it was so tasty too! I pulled the idea from BRIDE magazine and just a few months ago I saw the cake on “Cake Boss”- Buddy was making special for the photo shoot.
We had our reception at Willow Creek Country Club, utilizing both the inside and the outside patio/terrace like you mentioned. Our flowers were done by Jerry Rose at Hillside Floral.
