Nothing could be more fun than huge summer wedding at Deer Valley Resort at the Empire Canyon Lodge. Completely surrounded by nature and fresh air brings out the fun in any wedding! This wedding was BIG, and I mean BIG – the bride and groom invited over 200 guest! We’ll just call her “Miss popularity!” Heather came to us and Carrie instantly fell in love with her ideas and the style that she was going for.
Heather came for her consultation and showed Carrie a photo that she had found, I have to say this cake turned out soooo fun. It is a favorite here at Carrie’s Cakes.
We went with a three tier square wedding cake, the square just adds a more contemporary feel to the cake. But then to add to the effect we offset the cake dramatically and slathered it with whimsical flowers and designs all in the color palette that Heather had chose.
The flowers that were provided by Sax Romney were perfect for setting of the contemporary style of the cake…
